The Chilean government passed on Monday the so-called “Dicom Law,” a major reform to Chile’s Directory of Credit Information (Dicom), a debt disclosure system that has been in place since 1976.The new law will greatly expand confidentiality by limiting the disclosure of personal credit history contained in the Dicom to purely financial circumstances.
