Make use of our library instructions and learn how to do research at the Library, by using all the resources available in the most effective way.

A brief course on effective search

Every second Monday of the month from 12.00 to 13.00 hours, the Peace Palace Library offers a brief course on the effective search for literature, jurisprudence and legislation. We will explain how to use the Library’s catalogue, its major databases, and other resources. At the end of the course, a brief tour of the library is provided.

All members of the Library are welcome to participate. Participation is free of charge.

If you are interested in participating, please register by email at: c.alihusain@peacepalacelibrary.nl, indicating the day you wish to attend the course.

Participants are recommended to have a look at the slides of the presentation before attending the course (see below). For more information about the course, please ask one of our colleagues at the service desk of the Library.

This presentation will help you make the most of your visit to the Peace Palace Library. It explains how to do research at the Library, by using all the resources available in the most effective way.

You learn about our collection, how to find books and articles, how to make use of our e-resources, and how to stay alert of new additions to the Library’s already extensive, but continuously expanding collection.
