At the 37th Annual Course of the International Association of Law Libraries in Luxembourg, Sumeet Malik B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) (NLSIU), LL.M. (IP) (Franklin Pierce, Advocate Supreme Court, Associate Editor: ‘Supreme Court Cases’, Managing Editor: ITCC, donated his 2nd edition of “THUS SPAKE THEIR LORDSHIPS! QUOTABLE QUOTES FROM SUPREME COURT CASES (SCC) (1969-2018)” [EBC Lucknow etc., 2018] to the Peace Palace Library Director, Jeroen Vervliet.
The book is a welcome addition to the collection of the Peace Palace Library. The book contains a Topic Index, a Name Index (of Judges), a Table of Cases, and a Word Index, and … almost 1400 pages with ‘quotable quotes’ of Supreme Court Judges.
Judge Dalveer Bhandari, who is currently a member of the International Court of Justice, and who was previously at he Supreme Court of India (2005-2012), is cited several times in the book ”THUS SPAKE THEIR LORDSHIPS!”, e.g. on p. 24: “Those who indulge in immoral acts like perjury, prevarication and motivated falsehoods have to be appropriately dealt with, without which it would not be possible for any court to administer justice in the true sense and to the satisfaction of those who approach it in the hope that truth would ultimately prevail.
