Library User in the Spotlight: Elena Gulyaeva

    October 3, 2013

It is a great honor and pleasure for me to introduce my first book to the Peace Palace Library. Only one year ago, I was awarded a scholarship to attend the the Summer Courses in Public International Law of the Hague Academy of International Law. I met many great people here and made lifelong friends. It made my visit all the more enjoyable. I once again wanted to repeat this experience and this year my dream came true. It was a great opportunity to come back for the International Private Law Session. The Summer Courses are designed to bring together young international lawyers of a high standard from all over the world. Attending the academic and social activities during the Summer Courses of International Law proved yet again to be a fruitful experience and friends I have made during this time, are the most valuable outcome of my life. Such an experience is likely to change their lives.
