New Membership Fee and Library Services

    June 30, 2015

Due to a change in Library policy, we will be changing our annual membership fee to 30 euro. As of July 1, the well-known full annual library membership will cost 30 Euro. A full membership fee will provide borrowing and consultation privileges to all our classic materials such as books, journals and other documentation. However, we are taking the opportunity to broaden our Library services regarding our online resources. These digital Library resources will also be accessible from outside the Library for 30 euro library individual members. In addition, we are introducing a one-day membership card for 5 Euro as of July 1. This card will be valid from the moment of application and provides access to all materials available for consultation as well as to our online resources. Online access to our electronic resources with a one-day membership card is only possible from inside the Library. Borrowing privileges are not included with a one-day membership card.

The efforts to introduce access to these databases in the Library started several years ago and they have been growing. These databases, around 85 of them now in 2015, are an incredibly rich resource and by investing some time and a little bit of effort, the user can maximize their value.
